Third December 1958, the restaurant in a former hotel CROWN WAC was held with the participation of 32 registered members of the constituent meeting of the ring kaktusářů ZO ČOZS. He was elected the first ring committee consisting of:

In the first two years of activities, meetings were held mostly in the restaurant on the corner with the participation of 15 to 20 members. They were first organized lectures, spring is also a meeting place directly in greenhouses growers.

The years 1963 to 1967 can be described as a period of boom. The number of the member base is growing steadily. The years 1970 to 1985:

From 1969 until 1982, that lasted for 13 years, very good and beneficial cooperation with the leadership of SZK Rip, namely the former director, Mr Francis Mucke. We had the moral and material support in the form of organizational involvement in actions, leasing space for monthly meetings and exhibitions for and that in no case was the relationship one-sided dependence. Therefore, lectures with slide shows are also in our long course, with exhibitions and tours together, we always tried to prepare something new there's not. Only the decrease in membership was still quiet, but steady, and so in 1980 we register have 50 members (42 draws magazine), but three years later, only 39 members and now we are again slightly less ...

Great organizational change was the decision to revoke an individual organization Czech Association of NF kaktusářů, which happened in 1977 and from 1 January 1978 we are part of a large family of gardeners. Even after 10 years can not be said that it adopted a reasonable solution because kaktusářství as specialized "garden" in our business is extremely nice tradition and membership greatly exceeds the number of members of other specialized gardening organizations, such as focusing on lilies, rock gardens, orchids, bonsai etc.
